Okay with Obsolescence
Jake Sheff

Benevolent as a yak
in teriyaki, Barnabas
rose to iconoclastic
trundle arson: mari-

achi with a bungle,
trellis with a clash
of flowers, unguent
of unrelenting
            concentration.

Bespoke, alimentary:
Barnabas did decline.
Or, thought Barnabas,
a callipygian equine.
