Poetry

from Where Chinese Women Float in Space
David Harrison Horton

Where the carcass is the buzzards gather
in ossified eyes and dreamsongs
a finger for the reliquary
a pattern subjected onto stars
and thinking
a toy in the basin used to bathe
mispronounced phoneme
derailed conversation
