Poetry

from Where Chinese Women Float in Space
David Harrison Horton

Somewhere there should and must be an epiphone
a binding of desires to the attainable
an amalgamation of torsos and limbs
a combination of all sounds
in penultimate silence
all prophetic murmuring held
to a steady hum, pulse
a desire to write all the images
of one life
a waking dream between blinks
of another's eye
