Vernacular Hands
Matt Hill

by the hand's cognition
this that reaches for yield
by continuous cold cadence

aligned with handed notes
using a Fibonnacci rhythm
most symbolically laid bare

several modern myths performed
fiercely with hands of glory that
validate the ephemeral gestures

the hands that implicate make
attempts to signal the relevant
that spark the plethora of days
